auction slated for Saturday,
September 27, by Fontaine's Auction
Gallery. The sale will be held at
Fontaine's spacious showroom
facility, located at 1485 W.
Housatonic Street in Pittsfield. For

“This
auction will feature hundreds of
wonderful items from prominent area
estates,” said John Fontaine of
Fontaine's Auction Gallery, “and
it's just one of three great sales
planned for the fall.” The other
sales are the Henry Brownell Estate
Auction (Saturday, October 18),
Important Antique Clock Auction
(Saturday, November 8) and another
Antique Discovery Auction (Saturday,
December 6th). “These sales will
conclude what has been a great year
for us.”

Tiffany carved walnut corner arm
chair in very good and clean
condition, with original finish.
The top-crest rail is heavily
carved, with a panel showing
acorns and oak leaves. The chair
has a nice tapestry seat, with
